5K Challenge1.04 - App Store
You'll be able to see results in few seconds.
Publisher Description
Train for about thirty minutes a day, three days a week. In nine weeks, you'll be ready for your first 5K.
Our developer had already lost 40 pounds via a popular weight loss program, when he found out the program had an award for running your first 5K. With the help of some friends and online resources, he started training. Being a full time iPhone developer, writing a companion app was just too obvious. Thats what sets our app apart. Our developer actually used the app for his training. He went from never being able to even run a mile to doing his first 5K.
Each workout is time or distance based in metric or english, including voice prompts by "Serena".
The best feature of the app is the compatibility with other apps. All the audio prompts will play in the background no matter what other app you are using. Our developer has a jazz radio stream that doesn't play in the background, but 5K Challenge does just nicely.
Share your progress on social media. Follow along with our developer's weight loss blog.
Distance based workouts require GPS. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. GPS only runs during the actual workout, for about 30 minutes.
Requires iOS 5.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
